We Do Holiday Lights provides holiday lighting design, installation, maintenance, removal, and storage services. When you request a design, estimate, or service, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, property address or ZIP code, lighting preferences, desired timing, and project details. If you send property photographs or other materials, we use them to understand and plan your project.
How we use information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, prepare designs and estimates, schedule and provide services, communicate about your project, and maintain business records. Website requests are stored in our WordPress system and sent to our business email account.
Google and our email connection
Our Holiday Lights Website Email application connects our business Google account to WordPress through WP Mail SMTP to send website notifications and service-related emails. Visitors do not need to connect a Google account or provide a Google password.
The connection processes our authorized sender account information, authorization tokens, and outgoing email data, including recipients, subjects, and message contents. Google’s permission screen may grant broader mailbox access than sending alone; our website uses this connection for email delivery. Authorization tokens are retained in the website’s configuration to maintain the connection. Email records may remain in Google Workspace and website records.
We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising or training generalized artificial intelligence models. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The connected account owner can revoke access through their Google Account settings.
Sharing information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information as needed with personnel and service providers supporting our website, email, and requested services, including GoDaddy for hosting and Google Workspace for email. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats.
Cookies and technical information
WordPress and our hosting services may use operational cookies and collect technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and access logs, to operate and secure the website. We have not added Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or advertising tracking to this website. Browser settings allow you to control cookies; blocking them may affect some functions.
Security and retention
We use password-protected administrative access and encrypted HTTPS connections to help protect information. No online system is completely secure. We retain inquiry and service records for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including ongoing customer service, business records, and applicable legal obligations. Records may also remain in routine backups until those backups are replaced or expire.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing designer@wedoholidaylights.com. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or business recordkeeping reasons.
